ABOUT

Reclaim Roxbury proudly presents the Celebration of Roxbury Legends, an event honoring the figures behind community-driven development. Join us as we celebrate more than a dozen new developments in the area, bringing millions of dollars of investment and over a thousand new affordable units, and built along Reclaim Roxbury’s model for inclusive community standards.

This event recognizes Greg Minott with the 2025 Roxbury Legends Award for his leadership at the DREAM Collaborative, leading major projects that add density for both deeply affordable and market-rate housing in Roxbury, as well as designing future commercial spaces and community spaces that ensure Roxbury’s growth reflects the needs and aspirations of its residents.

As we celebrate the future of Roxbury as a thriving cultural and economic hub, we invite you to join local leaders, residents, and advocates in an evening of celebration and connection as we honor the past, embrace the present, and shape the future of Nubian Square together.

2025 ROXBURY LEGEND HONOREE: Greg Minott

Join us as we honor Greg Minott, a visionary leader whose work has transformed Nubian Square and beyond. As co-founder of DREAM Collaborative and Managing Principal of DREAM Development, Minott has dedicated his career to building a Roxbury that thrives through community-centered, equity-driven development. His latest project at 2147 Washington Street exemplifies this mission—bringing 74 new housing units, artist spaces, and a café for Haley House, all designed to support local residents and businesses. For his leadership in shaping the future of Nubian Square, Reclaim Roxbury proudly presents him with the 2025 Roxbury Legend Award.

Minott’s impact extends far beyond a single project. Since 2008, he has been at the forefront of urban design and affordable housing, working to ensure that development in Roxbury reflects the voices and needs of the community. Originally from Mandeville, Jamaica, he arrived in Boston with a vision—one that has since led to transformative projects across the city. His commitment to sustainable, inclusive growth continues to set a new standard for what’s possible in urban development. By honoring Greg Minott, we celebrate not just his achievements, but the future he is helping to build for Roxbury and beyond.
